Matama Beach

The Matama Beach, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Sunsets, is the only Oita Prefecture to be able to see the sunset setting on the horizon. At dusk on a sunny day, the whole area is dyed red, glittering and orange sunsets are reflected on the surface of the water, and at the end the sun falls in the middle, fascinated by the fantastic appearance of the water surface weaving.
