Takegawara Onsen

Takegawara Onsen| Grand Mercure Beppu Bay Resort & Spa [Official]

Takegawara Onsen is the origin of the name "Takegawara" because it was built in 1879 when the building was renovated in 1938 with a "tiled" roof.
The current building was built in 1938 (1938), and the front is a hot spring with a luxurious roof of Tang Gables, and its appearance is a symbol of Beppu Onsen.
The high ceiling lobby retains the image of the early Showa era, making it a space where you can relax in the bath. The famous sand bath wears a yukata and lies on the sand, and the sand kake-san pours the sand warmed by the hot spring.
