The castle park in Hiji-cho is planted with about 100 cherry trees, and during the best time to see the spectacular view of Beppu Bay overlooking Mount Takasaki over the cherry blossoms.

This kimono dressing experience, which can be used at a flat rate from children to men's kimono, allows you to choose your favorite kimono from a wide variety of luxurious kimonos to small crests, yukatas, and a wide variety of types.

■Announcement of 1-day limited event
A local teacher who conveys Japanese culture through the tea ceremony will be invited to make matcha using Kyushu's representative famous tea "Yame Chasei no Row". Along with fragrant matcha, we offer special products made by the long-established Japanese confectionery shop "Take Hayashido" in Beppu City, and fresh confectionery inspired by spring cherry blossoms.
The gorgeous and gorgeous Uchikake, donated by Hiji-cho and Beppu, used as a wedding costume about 40 to 50 years ago, will be exhibited. You can also enjoy playing the koto at the venue overlooking Beppu Bay, where gorgeous costumes that make you feel spring are lined up. Please enjoy a moment to experience elegant Japanese culture.

■Nearby Walking Area Castle Park
The coast below Honmarushita is commonly called "Joshita Coast" and is the origin of the famous "Joshita Karei".
