Spring

The park at the foot of the mountain at an altitude of about 500m is a famous cherry blossom spot, and Yoshino cherry trees bloom.
Next, wild Yamazakura blooms on the Tsurumidake hillside from the foot of the mountain to an altitude of about 1,000m, and advances to the rare Mamezakura flowering on the mountain in late April.

Every year's best time to see: From mid-May to early June

Miyama Kirishima is a type of azalea that grows naturally on plateaus in various parts of Kyushu and is designated as a natural monument.
Along the promenade from around Tsurumi Sanjo Station to the top, there are 5,000 plants in the Yamagami area, and at the best time, a wonderful sight where the Yamaichi surface is dyed pink spreads out.

Summer

The summit area, which is about 10 ° C lower than the flat ground, is recommended for summer heat.
Please enjoy a leisurely stroll on the mountain at an altitude of 1,375m.

Autumn

The autumn leaves overlooking from the gondola are red and yellow and very beautiful.
Please enjoy the spectacular panorama of Beppu Bay in autumn from the top of the mountain.

Winter

At an altitude of 1,300m, you can see the silver world of rime, which is rare in Kyushu, if conditions such as temperature, humidity, and wind are met.
